Route type: Out & back

Anjani Mahadev Temple is located in Solang village in Burma, above Solang ski slopes. The temple is only accessible by trekking or by mules and horses. The temple is famous for its 20ft high ice sheet, which was discovered here by Baba Prakash Puri 15 years ago. It is also believed that this was where Anjani, the mother of Lord Hanuman, used to pray and meditate, hence the temple's name.

This temple is a short hike that takes one into the valley, through the rivers, by the small rocks, and the countless steps which eventually opens up at the magical Mahadev Temple. Apart from that, some of the most scenic landscapes of the Solang Valley can be observed from this trail. This region also has a fantastic waterfall that falls over 30m and freezes during the winter to form Shiva Lingam.

Trailhead for this particular trail lies by the Solang Valle Parking, which is pretty well connected by roads and can be reached by many different modes of transports such as taxis, cabs, or private vehicles.
